Gigdollars' Terms Of Service

  • Welcome to the GigDollars :: a TeknoRhino Concept Group LLC Website / Brand ::

    • First and foremost, registration is FREE. You need to be a Registered GigDollars's user to buy and sell. 
    • Services and jobs that are listed by sellers on GigDollars are called "Gigs".
    • Gigs on GigDollars are offered for any reasonable price.
    • For GigDollars user protection, you may not offer or accept payments using any method other than placing an order through GigDollars.com. All gigs should be ordered using the respective 'Order Now' button.
    • Buyers are fulfilling all rights for the delivered work, unless otherwise determined by the seller in the gig description.
  • Sellers

    • Basic Rules
    • For each gig you sell and successfully deliver accredits your account, GigDollars keeps 20% as carrying and advertsiing cost.
    • GigDollars will act as an Escrow service. Buyers pay GigDollars for orders in advance.
    • GigDollars accredits sellers once an order is complete.
    • Sellers can withdraw revenues from their balance to a PayPal account of their choice.
    • If an order of a work is cancelled for any reason, the seller's funds and revenues are returned to the buyer account balance.
    • Seller's rating and trust is calculated based on feedback earned from buyers, amount of orders cancelled and late deliveries.
    • Handling orders
    • When a buyer orders one of your works, you will be notified and asked to Accept or Reject the order.
    • Sellers are required to meet the expected delivery duration they specified when creating their gigs. If the seller failing to do so, the buyer has rights to cancel the order and this will reduce the seller's rating.
    • Both buyers and sellers have the option to cancel an order by mutual agreement. Doing so has no negative effect on either party.
    • Any unanswered works or mutual cancellation requests will be automatically accepted after 48 hours, while reducing the non-responding user's rating.
    • A Seller may cancel an order at any given time and moment. However, canceling an order will give negative effect on the seller's rating.
    • We expect sellers on our site to put an email that they check regularly. If you miss an order, your gigs will be marked as "suspended".
    • If sellers don't respond at all to an order at the specified time given for any of their gigs, we will set them as "suspended gigs", because we expect that account to be inactive. Even so, user still has a change to activate them again.
    • Buyer and Seller also should also accept gigdollars.com mails so that they don't land in the spam box
    • If you don't have time to deliver gigs due to holidays, etc. you can set your gigs to "suspended" and activate them again later.
    • User Privacy & Protection
    • To protect our users' privacy, user identities should be kept anonymous. Requesting or providingYahoo Messenger ID, Skype/IM usernames, Email addresses, or any other personal contact information (Other than your name) is not permitted.
    • All communications, information and files transferred related to a service should be performed exclusively using Gigdollars' messaging system.
    • Posting of illegal, violent, nonsense, adult, copyright protected, or other improper material on the site is strictly prohibited.
    • Content and gigs on the site is simplify and moderated. Users messaging, suggesting or posting any of the above improper and prohibited subjects will get their account blocked or banned
    • Do not use the same password here as you are using ofr your Paypal and / or of any your other personal accounts.  
    • Gigs delivery & communications
    • During your work, you are required to use only GigDollars 's internal mail system to pass material from and to your buyer.
    • Using the GigDollar mail system protects the seller's and buyer's privacy. Never ask a buyer to switch to third party email.
    • You are responsible and required to scan all transferred files for malware and viruses. GigDollars will not be held responsible for any damages caused by your infected files
    • Sellers must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the 'Deliver Completed Work' tab which is located in the Order Page.
    • Once work is completed and delivered, the buyer has three days to respond. After that time, the order will automatically be marked as complete.
    • Withdrawing revenues
    • To withdraw funds from GigDollars, you need to have a valid PayPal account. Please make sure that your PayPal account is not limited and can earn incoming payments and money of course before withdrawing funds.
    • Your GigDollars profile can only be associated with one unique PayPal account. This association is permanent and can't be changed.
    • Funds are cleared for withdrawal after a safety clearing period of 7 days (from the day you receive them in your balance)
    • PayPal will charge a transfer fees amount to 2% or more of the total withdrawal sum, and up to a maximum of $1. Be smart, withdrawing $70 or more in one withdrawal will save you a little cash.
    • Withdrawals are final and cannot be undone. Please make sure to use your valid and current PayPal email address. We will not be able to refund or change this process once it has started and moved to PayPal's hands.    
    • Be very careful when engaging your Buyer.  Do not rush to deliver your service and electronic goods.  There has been a recent spike in Paypal frauds.  GigDollars is obliged to hold on to any payment that may be fradulent and return it to Paypal.  Therefore, once we have the reason to question a payment, we will be holding it for additional 2 to 4 weeks to allow Paypal or any other funding source to investigate.  In the event that the payment is proven to be fraudulent determined by Paypal or via us, the Buyer's payment will be returned to Paypal.  Therefore, it is up to the Sellers' responsibility to stay alert when working with Buyers.  Please provide reviews for Buyers and/or Sellers at the end of each transaction.  This is the only way to build a trusted environment for our market place.

  • Buyers

    • Ordering gigs
    • Purchase of works from GigDollars can be done using your PayPal or credit card (credit card purchases are handled by PayPal as well).
    • Once payment is confirmed, your order will be sent to the seller.
    • If you have a positive balance or more in your account, it will be used optionally when ordering new gigs besides your PayPal payment.
    • Sellers and buyers identity is anonymous. Do not request or provide emails to users on the site like Yahoo Messenger ID, Skype/IM usernames, Email addresses, or any other personal contact information.
    • Buyers must not offer Sellers with payments or transactions conducted outside of GigDollars. (buyers may not offer sellers to use PayPal etc.)
    • In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately here.
    • Avoid completing a dispute or reversing a payment through PayPal or your bank. Doing so may get your account blocked or hold.
    • In case of a problem, always try and ask for support with your seller. If you need further assistance, contact our customer service here
    • Order refunds or cancellations (when eligible) can be done by customer service only up to a period of 10 days from order completion date. We will not attempt to cancel orders after that time.
  • General terms

    • Violation of GigDollar's Terms of Service may get your account blocked permanently.
    • Sellers will get a chance to withdraw their revenues from banned or blocked accounts after a safety period of 30 to 80 days, depending on block factor, from day of last cleared payment earned in their account and subject to GigDollar's approval.
    • Spammers will be blocked permanently and banned!
    • Disputes should be handled using GigDollars's dispute resolution tools ('Got Problems?' in the order page) or by contacting GigDollars customer service.
    • GigDollars reserves the full right to put any account on limit or hold accounts permanently due to any misproper behavior. Users with accounts on hold will not be able to sell or buy on GigDollars.
    • Gigdollars may make changes to its Terms of Service from time to time without any notice. When these changes are made, GigDollars will make a new copy of the Terms of Service available at http://www.gigdollars.com/terms_of_service.
    • You must understand and agree that if you use GigDollars after the date on which the Terms of Service have changed, GigDollars will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
    • Disputes
    • When a buyer orders one of your gigs, you will be notified and asked to Accept or Reject the order. Disputing an order should only be used when you will not be able to perform your offering on time. If you are away and cannot handle orders, it is good idea to suspend your works from your "My Gigs" control panel.
    • We are truly encouraged our buyers and sellers to discuss and settle their conflicts amongst themselves. If for any reason this fails, users can directly contact GigDollars's customer service department for assistance here.
    • GigDollars will not refund payments made for cancelled orders back to PayPal. Refunds are made to the buyer's balance and are made available for future purchases on GigDollars.
